    La Prymera This solemn pavanilla is composed in 4/4 time, yet barely noticeable due to accent shifts. La Diferencia Inspired on the (Seis) Diferencias sobre la Pavanilla (anonymous) from the vihuela book 'Ramillete de Flores Nuevas' (1593, MS / 6001 Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid). La Milanesa A combination of a Pavan by Luys Milan and a Fantasía by Francesco da Milano. A game with tablatures, both horizontally and vertically flipped. La Sanza A fragment from the Pavana al ayre Español by Gaspar Sanz combined with an African sanza (thumb piano) theme from Cameroon.
    La Flamenca A fragment from a Pavana by the Flemish lutenist Joachim van den Hove mixed with free style flamenco. La Inglés This English-like cheerful pavanilla contains a short edited chord excerpt from What if a Day by John Dowland.

    Raganana (2016)
    This composition is inspired by Indian classical music. The tempo progression is like in a raga: 1. Vilambit laya (slow tempo). The continuous bass line represents a tanpura (a drone instrument with usually 4 strings) tuned in AddD. 2. Madhya laya (medium tempo), where the strings are plucked like the chikari strings of a sitar. 3. Drut laya (fast tempo), the way of playing is reminiscent of playing with a mizrab (plectrum). The composition ends as quietly as it began.

    Nocturnal (2018)
    An expressive and lyrical night piece, yet at the same time gloomy and "lonely".
    The silence of the night is exhibited in a slow introduction interspersed with a few distracting moments. A mysterious darkness is created by a sonorous bass melody, accompanied by a 'narrow arpeggio' (term of the composer); the index finger plays the same string as the thumb. The nocturnal atmosphere ends with a contrasting finale.
